Bush: I'm Thrilled to Be Anywhere with High Ratings These Days

Bushdeal

A sign of the times...

FDR gave the country The New Deal. George W. Bush gave the country Deal or No Deal.

And I'd say we got a raw deal.

Watch it, AFTER THE JUMP...

  1. I never tune in to this show, but I was channel-surfing last night and landed on it. Really pathetic, just like Bush himself. Wrapping the atrocities in Iraq in patriotism and trivializing the untold billions spent on this fools errand. Shallowness in its extreme. The hangover from this idiot's administration is going to last a long, long time.

  3. Wow, how very hokey of him. Although if I tuned in last night and saw this, the giant screen, pillars, and spotlights would have had me convinced we'd actually crossed the deep end and were receiving a declaration from our new master and overlord for life. Looks like something from V for Vendetta.

  4. Our vice president just got back from another fishing trip and our president is a guest star on a game show. Kinda says it all doesn't it?

  5. Truly a lame-fuck presidency.

  6. ANDY, cute comment on the new deal.

JEFF, i don't watch this horrible show either. for one, howie totally creeps me out, and for two, it shows everyday americans at their worst. it is not surprising, therefore, that our-moron-in-chief would lend his astonishing vacuousness to this dog and pony show. he cares less now than he ever did about his reputation; he's made his mess and he's outta their soon. hence, his alfred e. neuman attitude. i am convinced that the whole of the bush administration will be remembered as an aberration, the peter principle on it's ear, an eight-year collective brain fart of the american consciousness.

in short, i share your disdain.

  7. Wow! Here I thought there was a war going on, the country in a serious recession, experiencing massive housing price collapse, never-before-seen levels of foreclosures, gas prices reaching $4/gallon, and the world in the midst of an international food shortage crisis--hey food prices have increased only 83% in 12-months. Good thing to know that fearless leader has his priorities in order!

The best democracy money can buy or steal!

  8. At least they knew better than to have him appear on Are You Smarter than a Fifth Grader. He'd get blown out of the water.

  11. He'll go on TV on applaud the actions of our veterans, but just try and get him to attend a fallen soldier's funeral. The utter nerve. This media whore makes Michael Lucas & Donald Trump look like saints. Just makes me want to stand in front on the White House when his daughter gets married and say "THE UNION BETWEEN A MAN & THAT WOMAN IS JUST UNNATURAL" just to see how they like it.
