Bravo's Workout Loses Propel After Dissing Cancer Patient

Workout star Jackie Warner allegedly made some remarks recently on the show about a woman's breasts that outraged fans and now have caused the show's sponsor Gatorade Propel, to pull its advertising. According to fans, Warner had her manager take the fall for the remarks.
Here's the lowdown, via one of the show's former fans: "Brian brought in his client to train. Jackie and her office manager were sitting in the office together and they started making fun on Brian's client's breast for being too hard and too perfect and obviously implants. What Jackie and her office manager didn't know was that the clients boyfriend was standing outside their office and heard the whole thing. He walked into Jackie's office and informs her that his girlfriend is a breast cancer surviver. Jackie in turn has the whole scene edited out for the show, and has her manager take the fall for making the statements. But the next day, Brian comes into Jackie's office and confronts her with her statements (because according to Brian, whom I believe) it was Jackie who made the statements about this clients' breast being too hard. Jackie refused to talk about it. Brian continued and in turn Jackie fired Brian."
Warner has since apologized about what happened on the show, saying "The producers decided (regrettably) to create through editing a very different and what I think a very negative show."
Gatorade has apparently pulled its sponsorship, releasing a statement which reads, in part "We have watched the episode in question, and we too were surprised and saddened to see the conversations unfold between these trainers. Since this episode aired, we have heard from many viewers of The Workout who are also consumers of our product, and we understand and relate to your disappointment in what occurred. We have notified Bravo we no longer wish to be associated with The Workout and will be pulling our commercials. Furthermore, we will not renew our sponsorship of this program in subsequent seasons."
Read the entire statement here.

Yet another reason I'm glad I don't watch reality television, other than Project Runway!

Normally I like Bravo TV but not much longer if they keep that (Jackie Warner) caliber of person on TV.
My aunt is in the midst of breast cancer. I promise you none of her life warrants ridicule.

Wow, what a shock. Jackie is a phony, superficial, power hungry b*tch? Wow, what a shock.

Jackie is a tool. I used to enjoy the show, but I got sick of her. She is so full of herself. Too much hubris. Hopefully this knocks her back to reality.

Jackie is the reason I can watched Bravo. I find her fake. I find her demeanor condescending, and malicious. She treats both her clients and employees like crap all the while her "love" life spirals out of control. She has personal issues she needs to take care of first before she can walk through life in happiness and peace.

It's really a shame because, besides Jackie (who now completely disgusts me, but before just left me unsettled), the reason I loved this show was because, in my opinion, it featured prominently and positively many gay "characters" in a very real way. For that, I really appreciated and could grasp the merits of the show; but being a huge fan of Brian and with a mother that survived breast cancer, I will unfortunately no longer watch. It's lost it's positive spin for me.
Posted by: David | May 12, 2008 10:54:31 AM
I have never liked Jackie, she's not a nice person. Have always perceived her as mean and playing in to the stereotype of a self absorbed Dyke. Jackie easily took the crown from Leona Helmsley when it comes to Queen of Mean.
Posted by: Bojo | May 12, 2008 11:03:58 AM
Jackie Warner is the worst boss I've ever seen--she's controlling, manipulative and lies her way out of everything. Why anyone is still watching this show is beyond me. Maybe losing its sponsors will finally force it off the air.
Posted by: Mark | May 12, 2008 11:06:51 AM
Good, I'm glad she's been dropped.
She needs to be brought down more than a peg or two.
She should be ashamed as a woman.
I hope she keeps her breast for the rest of her life.

I don't know the show, or like "reality" programming. We have all said stupid uninformed things. The only thing to do then is IMMEDIATE UNQUALIFIED APOLOGY AND CONFESSION OF DEEP PERSONAL STUPIDITY. We ran the Race for the Cure here in Salt Lake City this weekend. If you need a humbling experience do it, they have one in your town. Running or walking with survivors, seeing families with the notes pinned to their shirts ("In memory of", or "In celebration of"), some with lists of people in their lives who have faced this cancer. I cry a little every year, I'm doing it now thinking of all the individual stories of pain and loss and courage and triumph. Happy Mothers Day.

That show is a complete and utter train wreck, as it was way before this incident. Why people are interested in her negativity is beyond me, but I don't find any redeeming qualities at all. Most of the GLBT characters are done to pure stereotype, just like all the other Bravo TV realities. It ruined half the Project Runway season, and other shows like this one or Flipped Out (or whatever that one's called) is just painful to watch. Seriously, can't they cast a show with a boss people could like and admire?
Posted by: Ryan | May 12, 2008 11:53:38 AM
Like Rikard states, we have ALL said stupid, uninformed things. Jackie didn't KNOW that lady was a cancer survivor? It wasn't professional or wise, but it wasn't malicious. I don't know about y'all, but I've laughed and commented about what I thought was a ridiculous breast enhancement. Gimme a break.
I don't care one way or the other about Jackie Warner, but it was a MISTAKE for chrissake. When did every fucking thing become so offensive?
Posted by: Michael | May 12, 2008 12:01:47 PM
What is sad - is that instead of being truly sorry for what happened, she deflected the blame from her and had the scene "reshot" so it to appear as she was innocent and her assistant was to blame. Not only is that the sign of a bad boss, it also a sign of a bad person. When I watched this episode this weekend, I immediately made a decision not to watch another episode and cancelled it from my TIVO. Hopefully more people will do the same.
Posted by: Gerard | May 12, 2008 12:18:57 PM
Michael, please don't try to justify this type of behavior by saying 'we all do it.' No, we all don't sit around making catty comments about other people's appearances. It's NEVER right, NEVER helpful, and NEVER productive.
By all means continue your superficial, bitchy comments, but please stop fooling yourself that it's ever OK to tear someone else down for your own amusement.
Posted by: wetcnt | May 12, 2008 12:23:55 PM
I'd have to agree with you Michael. It was not malicious in any way. The point is she apologized and recognized it was a mistake. We're not all angels in this world. We don't always make the right decision or the best comment. The point is being accountable.
And about who said what, how does this fan really know how and what was edited out? We really can judge what we don't know.
Posted by: Dave | May 12, 2008 12:24:57 PM
The breast cancer thing is the only reason she was made to feel bad about it. The people who come to her gym should not be made fun of by the office assistant. They're vulnerable enough as it is when they go to her gym. She was at WORK and Jackie totally condoned it. The whole thing is just so tacky.
Posted by: JoshEV | May 12, 2008 12:32:35 PM
I agree with the other Michael above. Not that I want to defend the show, but who here hasn't made a catty comment about someone's appearance? This one just happened to be on television (although technically it wasn't - I watch the show and they edited out the entire conversation). Don't throw rocks...
Posted by: Michael 2 | May 12, 2008 12:33:33 PM
I have to tell you in the fitness industry, most people that I have come across are pretty "full of themselves". I don't see this with Jackie Warner.
I think a lot of people look her success and think she is manipulative, but I see her as extremely intelligent and cutting edge. I work in the fitness industry and I would to work for someone like Jackie.
As far the comments made, it was bad judgement, pure and simple. I would have never thought that the woman Brian was training was a cancer survior. Kudos to her, but I don't think it was malicious.
Brian is a baby and he really needs to realize that Jackie is the boss. She is running the show, it is her name on the door.
She is impressive, he is not!! and that is the bottom line.
i think Jackie is a good example of what goes on in the gay world. We aren't perfect and we don't all have stable relationships. And there are those out there who want to do damage...and in the fitness world there are lots of gay people. But, that doesn't mean that they are professional or even ethical.
Posted by: Paul | May 12, 2008 12:38:42 PM
Regardless of whether it was malicious or not, firing (smoking hot) Brian for wanting to discuss it truly reflects more on her character than anything. Yes, we have all put our foot in our mouth and said things we shouldn't, and the proper thing is to apologize to whoever needs to be apologized to. Her reaction to him shows her culpability more than anything...
Posted by: homofascist | May 12, 2008 12:42:44 PM
A sweet "innocent" woman gets busted saying or doing something horrible and she plays victim while trying to set up a man to take the blame (think Susan Smith, Lindy Enland, etc.).
How shocking. How unexpected.
Posted by: Wade | May 12, 2008 12:46:15 PM
Finally some reporting on this! Also, it's not just Brian saying she made the statements. Go to Bravo's website, click on the blogs and then the blog of Lisa, the office manager who "took the fall" who ALSO blogs that Jackie made comments. Jamie Eason, Brian, AND Lisa maintain Jackie made these comments, not just fans.
Posted by: Juli | May 12, 2008 12:50:50 PM
How come nobody is mentioning how Jackie uses her position of power to hit on her employees? Taking the straight girls on a lesbian cruise and repeatedly making passes at them--? I can't believe nobody is suing her for sexual harassment and creating an uncomfortable work environment. Thank you, Bravo, for giving audiences yet another horrible portrait of a gay/lesbian person. That horrible person in charge of programming at Bravo (Andy sometime) and his awful blog and annoying persona should also be fired.
Posted by: JoHnny | May 12, 2008 12:53:11 PM
The problem is this: after making a comment, she didn't handle it properly.
It's her business and she decided to treat her business like a high school cafeteria with gossipy girls.
Obviously, the client and her boyfriend felt slighted because they brought it up to Brian afterwards. So, with an upset client, Brian is not allowed to discuss this with his employer? Not allowed? Ridiculous. And then she says, "Go take your client somewhere else." Yes, that's a mature individual.
Jackie Warner is manipulative and a terrible employer. What she creates is mistrust, favoritism and low morale for her employees.
She handled that situation incredibly poorly and has now lost a large endorsement from the very network that showcases her. Which, by the way, she stoops to blame as well.
She is clearly not a mature, responsible person.
Posted by: Sean H | May 12, 2008 12:56:00 PM
Jackie Warner frequently works out at my gym (Equinox West Hollywood). My trainer there told me that he made the mistake of becoming friendly, to the point of saying hello and making brief conversations, with Jackie Warner's girlfriend. According to my trainer, Jackie misinterpreted his friendliness as a desire to sleep with her girlfriend. From that point forward she would refuse to speak to him whenever he said hello to her and would glare at him from across the gym floor. I witnessed the behavior myself. Jackie Warner seems profoundly immature and emotionally unstable to me.

Peeler is hot. I wish he would sit on my face. Can I say that?
Posted by: Olive Yurdich | May 12, 2008 1:23:43 PM
I personally cannot stand Jackie and watch the show for backround noise. Its a dumb show with a few laughs, I record it and watch it while I check my email. Jackie is a stereotypical dyke. She is not a nice person, shes self absorbed and a liar. However, the comment she made, we have all said somthing we shouldn't have she just happens to be on a tv show. She said sorry, but hopefully losing the ad will kick her ego down a tad. And moving in with your much younger girlfriend after one date. WOW! I hope Peeler starts his own gym and knocks SkyLab out of business.
Posted by: Justin | May 12, 2008 3:09:51 PM
Let's not forget context. Sure, we all gossip - but she is a business owner and a boss. Her trainer's clients should feel SAFE to come in with their implants, cellulite, post-surgical bodies and TRAIN without ridicule. If I was Peeler, I would have quit rather than beg to be fired. If ANYONE made my client feel uncomfortable in a gym - they would hear from me. Jackie has once again through this example and her constant groping of female employees that she is clueless and a lawsuit waiting to happen for creating a very dangerous and toxic work environment. Truly the worst boss I've ever seen. She's a fitness expert for God's sake and in LA!! She dares to comment negatively on enhancements? Is she that stupid? I wouldn't set foot near her gym. I will not support her show or buy her products. She's ignorant that a boss is held to a different standard of decorum than an employee. She should have fired Lisa for demeaning a paying client in that gym - not Peeler.
Posted by: Me | May 12, 2008 3:13:44 PM
True it was a mistake that many of us have made before, putting our foot in our mouth. I believe both Jackie and the manager should have apologized to Brian and his client because after all it is the right thing to do.I also did not hear Jackie correcting her manager at the time of the conversation on her unprofessional behavior or we could even call it disrespecful, but Oh wait a minute that is what Brian got fired for not the manager. Jackie is supposed to be a leader in the show and should act as one at all times and she showed once again to not have the leader qualities in a professional setting. Bravo, move on found something else.
Posted by: Rho | May 12, 2008 3:16:14 PM
Jackie's a bitch. 'Nuff said.
And LOL @ Olive's comment.
Posted by: ms catsuit and heels | May 12, 2008 3:16:26 PM
And I'm sure if Peeler has any common sense, he will be quick to sue her over these actions. In the state of California, you better be careful about how and when you fire someone....Jackie better watch her back. She may have sky sports lab now, but for how long???
Posted by: kmslat | May 12, 2008 3:17:14 PM
Someone needs to give Brian his own show. He's a character who stood out and they could really milk the competition angle. And I don't doubt that if he was given the funding for his own gym that many of the cast from Jackie's show would deflect. Girls joke about that stuff all the time, unfortunately. But I think the way it was handled, the editing and bad acting and Jackie's obviously not wanting to talk about it on camera, speaks to her true character. Her manager's apology was over the top and obviously insincere, and it's clear she's overcompensating for Jackie's to cover for Jackie not taking any responsibility. And her lying is what makes this situation so heinous. By denying culpability she's basically spitting in the clients face. I won't watch her show. There's enough deceitfulness in the real road. But I will watch Brian's show (and trust me, there will be one) if just to spite the woman.
Posted by: Leia | May 12, 2008 3:22:52 PM
Uhm she didn't know that the woman had cancer! I don't even like Jackie but How do you guys know that the last time you made fun of someone they weren't sick at the time. How do you know where or not you yelled at someone for cutting you off on the freeway and that person was in a rush because someone they loved had died. Those in glass houses....
Posted by: MickeyD | May 12, 2008 3:28:28 PM
Jackie and this show should be cancelled for this. She's a disgrace and doesn't have an ounce of professionalism in her. Perhaps Bravo should do a "very special episode" where Jackie must do a breast cancer PSA or work with cancer patients as a way to further exploit this incident for tv--jeez someone should hire me to work as writer on this horrible show.
Posted by: DWM | May 12, 2008 3:35:26 PM
I saw the episode and I thought it was the office manager who said it, but maybe it was the editing. Anyway Jackie had it out for the other trainer anyway, I don't think he deserved the shit from her. She was the one who couldn't handle it. Fuck that show.
Posted by: R Muncher | May 12, 2008 3:35:55 PM
Oh and Jackie fucks her employees (literally and figuratively) , if she was a guy she would be sued out of existence.
Posted by: Dich Lees | May 12, 2008 3:39:37 PM
I think people are outraged over 2 things. 1. Jackie has owned no responsibility in the situation, she's shown no remorse, except that she got caught. (The office manager says she said it, but I think Jackie convinced her to take the fall, since other's report otherwise. The episode does not show the comments, only the aftermath.)
2. Generally, she's been a heinous egomanical dictator all season. Fame has gone to her head and she's become a monster.
The fact that the person had cancer really is just the cherry on the sundae. In truth a GYM OWNER has NO place ridiculing the appearance of people who frequent their gym (or allowing it in their presence). It's immature, unprofessional and just serves to underscore people's fear that if they're not in perfect shape they should stay out of the gym.
Posted by: clarknt67 | May 12, 2008 3:52:07 PM
You know, the whole shirt thing should have NEVER been done in front of the client; that right there is poor management on Jackie's part.
Second, Jackie is a bitch, but I think it's funny how you can't make fun of breasts BEFORE knowing something was caused by cancer. Nobody is really to blame here since they did NOT make fun of cancer before knowing IT was the cause.
Third, she was right to fire Brian and he was right to stand up to her. But, who wins now? Yeah, Jackie.
Posted by: Drew | May 12, 2008 3:53:40 PM
Drew: Personally, I'd say Brian wins, he no longer has to work for an insane maniac who is so full of herself she can ridicule her own clients, get called on it and still think SHE'S the victim.
Posted by: clarknt67 | May 12, 2008 4:03:25 PM
I'm not a big fan of the show, but I have seen it on occasion. I saw the episode in question, and I was really disturbed and appalled by Jackie's behavior.
It doesn't matter whether or not she knew about the client's cancer history or not. She is a business owner, and that client is putting money in HER pocket, and she has the gall to insult her behind her back?
And then, when Brian wanted to discuss her inexcusable, unprofessional comments, she tells him "I will not discuss this with you, and if you say another word about it I will fire you". What a nasty, vicious cunt. If Bravo had an ounce of integrity, they'd cancel that show. Or better yet, fire Jackie Warner from the show and find another, more deserving business owner to showcase.
Posted by: E-Z | May 12, 2008 4:03:43 PM
ok you are all so perfect its amazing, i find it really REALLY laughable that you guys act like you havent made fun of someone before, get a grip, and EVERYONE makes fun of girls with huge implants, if you think you dont your full of shit, now yes she was a cancer survivor, but i think we better get used to the fact that EVERYONE will have cancer touch their lives, and cancer isnt an excuse to get massive tits....now that being said i havent seen this show at all, but i find all trainers to be in your face and self centered, you have to be to do devote that type of time to your physical appearance....and lets not forget to mention that ALL reality television is truely trashy, and making fun of someones implants is like the tip of the iceberg, LOOK at the shit said about gay people on big brother, and you dont see sponserships being pulled( or if you do i havent heard about it) i get that she is the boss and should act a certain way, but have ANY Of you had a good boss? i havent and i think good bosses are a true rarity, so if you have one YOUR LUCKY!!!
Posted by: Trevor | May 12, 2008 4:07:03 PM
Trevor, did you read ANY of the comments? Most everyone concedes they have on occaision made a catty remark about another person's appearance.
It's Jackie's awful handling of the situation, denying that she is in any way culpable for her own or the manager's remarks, then FIRING Brian for standing up for his own client that seems to bother people.
I'm sure not much would have become of it had Jackie had the humility to bring Brian & his client into her office and say, "We made remarks that were unprofessional and immature, and this is not the standard that I want set for this gym and I am very sorry."
Posted by: clarknt67 | May 12, 2008 4:15:42 PM
All the editing in the world can't hide the fact that she's just a horrible human being, regardless of her gender or her sexuality! I tried to sit through her show, but her hypocrisy & horrible business manners are dispicable. The BBB should shut her down & make her work at a generic gym & see how the real world is!
Posted by: Jon A. Leslie | May 12, 2008 4:22:26 PM
Like I said on the board at Queerty, I’m VERY surprised that everyone is so quick to judge Jackie. If you want to look at society look towards yourselves. You are so quick to judge someone for making one quick (and poorly chosen) comment when this woman has so many positive impacts on peoples’ lives every day. But we are so fast to crucify someone and cast stones as if none of us have ever said something off the cuff that we wish we could have taken back. Cut Jackie a bit of slack on this one…
Also, the reason why she chose to fire Peeler had nothing to do with her comment, it had to do with his constant disrespect and as the owner of the club I would have fired his ass a long time ago. Jackie blogged last week and said that she wanted him gone a long time ago but the producers wanted him as part of the show so she couldn’t. And why is it that no one said a word about him mentioning that he was “this close” to punching Jackie?? Now that is something you should be offended by!
Posted by: Liam | May 12, 2008 4:24:20 PM
I don't believe Jackie.
She totally handled it wrong.
She seems really bitchy. I'm done w/ that show
Posted by: Stephen | May 12, 2008 4:27:12 PM
You're going down Jackie!
Maybe this will be the hardest lesson best learned!
Posted by: eddy | May 12, 2008 4:30:01 PM
I've been watching all season & I'm not quick to crucify her over these comments at all. I've found her behavior disgusting all season.
She called the one Skylab client into her office & chewed her out for being late, but did NOTHING to Greg her trainer for showing up 10 minutes late for HIS client. Then dismisses that client's complaints about Greg without speaking to the client directly? It's good to have your employee's back, but jeez, hear the client out.
She walks into Jessie's dinner party an hour late and makes out with her GF in front of her ex-Rebecca, like she's a 12 year old?
Just ew...
Posted by: clarknt67 | May 12, 2008 4:33:32 PM
Jackie Warner is a blight on the ass of lesbians everywhere...and I'm ashamed to call her a member of my tribe.
The way she paws all over her employees is gross. I'd be dragging her ass right into court.
I really hope Bravo drops this show once and for all.
Posted by: Kats | May 12, 2008 4:55:42 PM
I do think if Jackie were a straight man, and leached all over his female employees the way Jackie does, people would be up in arms & lawsuits would be flying fast & furiously.
Posted by: clarknt67 | May 12, 2008 5:08:25 PM
Give me a break. What two girls haven't made shitty comments about some other girl's fake breasts? It happens!
Posted by: Miss Pretty | May 12, 2008 5:28:08 PM
Dear Jackie,
I hope you die from breast cancer, because your experience may be the only way a piece of shit person like you will ever learn how to be a half descent human being.
Posted by: jackson87 | May 12, 2008 5:47:25 PM
I can't stand Jackie. She is horrible to watch. I am glad Gatorade dropped her. I hope Bravo does. She is there to make money. I give that to her. But, she is a phony who is only for herself. it's obvious after watching her a few times. It is sad that Peeler is gone. I hope he does well where ever he ends up.
Posted by: michelle | May 12, 2008 7:27:44 PM
I just wrote a very long piece that did not go through. I don't want to write it again SO let me just say I agree 100% with Sean and most of these posts. Jackie is toxic and selfish with a pathologically immature brain. Get a clue Jackie! Your behavior is vile and always reaches a new depth. Shame on her!
Posted by: Marie | May 12, 2008 7:57:40 PM
I was shocked when I watched the show. When you're going to a gym to work on your appearance you don't excpect to be belittled by the very same person who owns the gym. Jackie was totally mean, totally b*tchy and completely out of line. She lost me as a fan!
Posted by: Laura | May 12, 2008 9:02:13 PM
Jackie is a complete tool. I will no longer watch this show.
Posted by: Noodz | May 12, 2008 9:30:44 PM
It's obvious Jackie has had some work done since the last season, has anybody noticed? Nose job, chemical peel, eye lift?
The first season was interesting and it's been all down hill since then. The personalities and attitudes of the cast remind me of some of the worst people I have known in West Hollywood. Very sad.
Posted by: Jordy | May 12, 2008 10:39:08 PM
The level of vitriol and hate aimed at Jackie on this site reminds me of the way the posts generally go in regard to Hillary Clinton. I like Jackie. She's a strong gay woman working hard and making a success of her life. Of course she has flaws and makes mistakes, but the reaction to that is so misogynistic here that it sickens me.
Posted by: Paul | May 12, 2008 10:53:02 PM
Jackie should adhere to client confidentiality rules which is strictly observed in the medical community. I work in the medical field and federal regulations does not allow us to discuss a patient's case to anyone unless they are authorized to do so and provide direct care. I saw an episode where they had a medical doctor doing the health sceening for her clients. She should consult that doctor about patient/client's rights and confidentiality issues.

HELLO PEOPLE -- she didn't know the woman was a cancer survivor. She saw a woman with big fake breasts and said she didn't like them. Big deal. If the woman had walked in with a bald head and looking visibly sick, it would be a different story. I can't even believe people are going crazy about THIS?
Posted by: gigi | May 13, 2008 2:01:06 AM
OH MY GOD! having read some of the comments here, i wonder if you read what you write. So vicious over a show you dont watch? remotes anyone? the person that wished her death? for real?
I agree - we all do make comments at times and maybe it isn't appropriate to do so at work particularly if you are the boss - but she didnt know, presumably she apologised to the boyfriend and she is not answerable to the trainer! if the lady who she was speaking about came in, sure talk to her, but to the trainer? and then his childish behaviour and swearing? though, he should have been fired AGES ago.
I like Jackie - shes not perfect and as a lesbian i dont see why people are so angry at her being herself - no one is saying shes the most perfect person/role model. You all need to realise this is REALITY TV - this is reality, if you dont like the TV then change it. Oh! and i too am a breast cancer survivor and i still am not offended!!
Posted by: MEGAND | May 13, 2008 4:44:17 AM
Y'know, I'm really not sure the people in here who are defending Jackie Warner have even read the posts in this thread.
Are some extreme? Absolutely. Wishing death upon someone is going way, way overboard. However, that has not been the overall tone or message here.
I'll write it down again: She handled herself poorly. She made a mistake and she clearly didn't own up to it. She didn't conduct herself in a professional manner and what's worse, when the trainer, who's upset client came to him, she did not allow her employee to express those concerns. She attacked Brian first, remember? She was the one who threatened termination if he continued on that route. He was looking for an explanation. She was looking for an excuse to fire him.
Is that clear? She is unprofessional, immature and sadly, another bad image for the gay community.
That is our problem. We don't need more images of selfish, manipulative, chemically imbalanced, pathological liars on television.

Y'know, I'm really not sure the people in here who are defending Jackie Warner have even read the posts in this thread.

She should fess up and admit her mistake. But no, she did not. What kind of person would make such a comment knowing that it would be shown on the air? She is too old for that behavior. I stopped watching after two shows and got sick of her behavior. Sad.

I used to enjoy this show because it showed the gay trainers in a mostly positive light. Everyone has their faults and they weren't afraid to show those either. This year, Jackie seems like a different person. I was embarrassed when she brought her girlfriend to lunch with her staff and proceeded to make out at the table with her. I would be uncomfortable if my boss did that. Then, the way their Client Deena was treated by trainer Greg was totally unprofessional. Obviously, he is too interested in using the show to advance his music career and not interested in his clients at all, showing up late for her training sessions. And Jackie didn't even address his tardiness. Instead, she blamed the client for her "issues". What a stupid bitch! She always reacts without finding out the facts. She wouldn't last five minutes in my office!

This would all be sort of funny. Except for that her show, Work Out, is the only reality series on television focused on an Out lesbian. The only one! Have you seen LOL-Workout? (LOLcats + Work Out = http://lol-word.blogspot.com/2008_02_01_archive.html)

Take her off the air. I watched the show through the first two seasons, and found her merely distasteful.
Now, I find Jackie completely objectionable, and if anybody from Bravo is watching, please cancel the remaining episodes.

Jackie is a BITCH. I watch the show just to see what bullshit she is gonna pull each week. She is the worst gay and lesbian role model I have ever seen. And being a GAY man myself, I laugh at what prime time network thinks are good examples of gays and lesbians. Sure they are entertaining, but what a bunch a freaks. Just goes to show how superficial gay people and straight people are in southern California. What a fucked up place to live.

I am officially done with this show. I just lost my aunt to breast cancer. I don't appreciate the comment no matter which one it came from. It most likely came from Jackie and she let the other woman take the fall. I happen to meet Jackie last night and I thought she was way too full of herself - and fake as a $15 dollar bill. Just my opinion. I'm glad Gatorade pulled out - and maybe we can get the rest of them to follow. Good Bye Jackie - you don't represent us well and we don't need you.

Let me add to that comment. There was a cancer survisor at the event sitting right next to me. She drove a long distance just to tell Jackie that she inspired her. I watched as the woman went to shake Jackie's hand and tell her why she was there - Jackie definitely snubbed her. Later on in the night I saw the woman sitting behind the ropes with Jackie - Jackie had on the game face as usual - but the women in line behind me all commented on the fact that she did not look like she wanted to be there. They did not know the woman's story - That was enough for me. It's a shame because I really enjoy the Bravo Channel - but I will stop watching period if they keep her on the air.

I am the son and brother of Breast cancer survivors. We have contacted TGIF, Clairol, Western Union, Subaru, Hersheys, 3M, and Hanes to let them know that we will not be giving them any business while they advertise on Bravo's Workout. The remarks made on the show about breast cancer were vulgar and hurtful.
